1/27 - Cupcake Challenge

Cupcake challenge!

This class is a fantastic option for every young pastry chef no matter your level of kitchen expertise. During this 3 hour class students will be given step by step instructions on how to perfect batter for light and airy cupcakes as well as get familiar with piping techniques. Each student will end up with at least 8 cupcakes. Right before the challenge begins, instructor will reveal frosting colors and wide variety of toppings (sprinkles and marshmallows, candies and berries, chocolate chips etc). Students will have 40 minutes to express their culinary vision and decorate cupcakes. Final step is judging! Every chef will be noted and praised in one of the following categories: Creativity rocks, Best color selection, Unexpected and fun, WOW piping technique, Advance level decor, Imagination +, Mastery Level.

So let the challenge begin!

Suggest age group for this class is 8+. This is a nut-free class.

Attention Kitchen Elves:

• Please arrive 15 min prior to start of the class           
• All participants required to wear aprons and chef’s hat during the class( provided by us)
• Class is limited to 12 students
• Chefs with long hair (both male and female) need to wear hair pulled back
• Comfortable/closed toed shoes are mandatory; no flip-flops
• Water/Fruit infused water will be provided.
